I feel pretty ... Oh so pretty

The water's fine

I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I feel pretty and witty and blessed
I feel pretty ... and I pity
Other toilets in the M-L-S
 I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
I could be yours if you buy this home
I feel pretty
Oh so pretty
Oh please make me your new throne

I agree that this is a very cute and creative way to get our attention!!

Het Cynthia, Did you write the little poem or see it somewhere?

Cute!

Even toilets shouldn't sit around with their mouths wide open, unless Fido drinks there.

Joanna - Ha ha, I'm just having fun with a photo of a toilet I came across in the MLS today. Why agents post prominent photos of toilets is beyond me. Especially with the lid up.

Peggy - I seem to have a warped sense of humor today. Must be the rain.

Earl - "I feel pretty" is a song from West Side Story, I just changed the lyrics. I'm not sure why I started humming that song when I saw the photo of this toilet. Like I said to Peggy, my sense of humor is a bit off today.

Lenn - AGREED ... it's a nice looking toilet, but lid down please.

Never really understand this at all. I am showing a house tomorrow that I have actually been in that has a wonderful backyard. Unfortunately, the MLS photos don't include one of the backyard but the agent made sure to include the toilet photo. Go figure!!

Cynthia I never understood why agents take pictures of toilets as the main 'event' and even worse with the lids up.   Funny post and good way to get your point across.

Cynthia.  You're a good sport.  I just couldn't help myself.

Now there is a selling point, that must be why the agent had to put that picture in the MLS.  Oh, and now that song is going to be stuck in my head.  Thanks Cynthia.

Tammie - now that doesn't make one bit of sense!

Anna Banana - with the lid up, it looked like a talking toilet for some reason!

Lenn - I thought your comment was funny ... and if a toilet photo must be included for whatever reason, lids should ALWAYS be down.

Jim - sorry about that ... I've had the song in my head all day too.

Cynthia I seriously think some agents must have a fascination with toilets - especially with the lids open. Must be a secret desire, or maybe a wierd enthrallment....

John - I agree, there is some connection with toilets and agents cameras.

Lenn stole my thunder.  I was going to say this toilet would have looked prettier with it's mouth shut.

Does not seem this is a photo that is going to positively encourage the sale of the home --

Jane - yep ... its mouth is saying "C'mon in, the water's fine!"

Benjamin Realty - no encouragement whatsoever!

Donna - what ... you've never seen a singing toilet before? You're the one that's a mile high!!

The seat's down Cynthia, there must be girls in the house. I loved your poem, very cute indeed, you could be the Dr. Seuss of the real estate world. I'm not sure what the purpose of toilet  photos are, I always just work with the assumption that the vast majority of houses have at least one of them.

Posted by Malcolm Johnston, Trenton Real Estate (Century 21 Lanthorn Real Estate LTD., Trenton, Ontario) about 1 year ago

Malcolm - yep ... seat is down, but the lid should be down too if a toilet shot MUST be included in the MLS.

Cynthia, I always chuckle when I see photos of homes with the lids wide open!     What were they thinking?

Have you found a new queen for this throne as of yet? I've never tried to market a home from the bottom up =]
